Farrell is an avid photographer who now has his photos on display and for sale in the wall of art in the hospital. Twenty per cent of the sales from the photos go to the Aberdeen Hospital Auxiliary gift shop.  The auxiliary supports many projects in the hospital including the establishment of a family room in the new emergency room currently being built. The paintings and photos on the wall of art can be found online at www. aberdeenhospital.org or its Facebook page, Martha’s Place Hospital Giftshop. From the left, Leslie Carlyle-Ebert, auxiliary liaison, Dr. Gerry Farrell and Sharon Macdonald, auxiliary volunteer, were on hand for the dedication.

Aberdeen Auxiliary's Donations Promote Patient Safety

Patient safety requirements for the Aberdeen Hospital’s new main entrance were supported by the Aberdeen Hospital Auxiliary.  The Auxiliary generously funded the purchase of new hand rails for the main entrance corridor and two-way radios for Security personnel.  Presenting the cheque to Judy Maguire (centre), Director of Support Services, are Auxiliary members Al Murray and Eleanor Robertson.
